
Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Reports to: Customer Service Lead
Essentials:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. This is a fast-paced job requiring the ability to multi-task with proficiency. Excellent customer service skills are required.
Hours of operation, wages and benefits:
8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Monday thru Sunday (Five day a week work schedule)
Weekend work required.
Full benefit package begins at the completion of 120 day trial period and includes holiday, sick leave and vacation pay
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Must possess professionalism, courtesy, tact and sound judgment
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in both a team and self-directed environment
- Able to work will under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Able to work closely with animal dander/hair
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet clients as they come into the office
- Working with customers in person and on the phone in a cheerful manner
- Learning dog & cat breed characteristics and behavior and be able to communicate that knowledge
- Be knowledgeable of animals on premises and give out information accurately
- Processing adoption and redemption paperwork with accuracy
- Computer data entry with accuracy and speed
- Issuing pet licenses and renewals
- Processing reports
- Filing
- Collecting money for daily transactions, using cash register and balancing till
- Sales and inventory of retail items
- Ability to multi-task with accuracy
