My name is Jody Rosenblad.   I was an active 4-H member for 10 years, then a leader for 4 years with a special interest in dogs and horses.  I was a member of Whatcom County Search and Rescue for several years and trained my collie as a tracking dog.  I enjoy tracking, herding, obedience and agility with my dogs.  I moved to Kitsap County in 1992 and fell in love with the area.  After 17 years in “regular” law enforcement, I wanted to combine my love of animals with my work and have been an Animal Control/Humane Officer for 5 years.

I have a 5 acre farm I share with my husband and teen-aged daughter.  We have horses, goats, sheep, poultry, dogs, cats, and 2 parrots.  Nearly all of our animals are KHS “alumni”, including the horse in this photo.

In my spare time, I enjoy horseback riding, gardening, and spending time with my husband and daughter.
