Our humane educators come to your classroom to teach a variety of programs for children of all ages. These programs educate students on diverse humane topics such as animal safety, pet care and animal communication. Our lessons include fun and interactive games, activities, creative art projects or informative slide shows.

If requested, and based on the specific program, our humane educator can be accompanied by an animal assistant, most often a cat or dog.

Our curriculum fulfills Washington RCW 28A.230.020 requirements which state,  “All common schools shall give instruction in… science with special reference to the environment, and such other studies…. All teachers shall stress the importance of…the fundamental principles of honesty, honor…and the worth of kindness to all living creatures and the land.”

We understand that your budgets are limited, and therefore we provide this service FREE! If your students would like to support our efforts, dog and cat food, clean towels, newspaper, and spare change are all needed and welcome donation items.
