Veterinary Services

       Veterinary Services plays an active role in reducing the number of unwanted animals in our community by spaying or neutering all of the animals that come through our doors. We also provide a Low-Cost Spay/Neuter program for low income families that reside in Kitsap County.

       Under the direction of the Staff Veterinarian and the Director of Operations, our primary function is to see that the animals sheltered at the Humane Society are healthy and provide medical attention if necessary. We are in contact with all Shelter employees, the general public, vendors and Veterinarian clinics.
